I see a lot of ppl jumping on the Jag project. Nice Vid. I learn new things every day lol as far as the eggs incubation.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what other people do with it this season. I’ve seen a few cool combos but I don’t think we’ve gotten to see the full potential of this project yet! Should be some very cool animals produced this season with more animals in peoples collections breeding this winter.

So simple. Makes sense. We will do the same thing. Thanks, Matt.

No problem I hope it helps! Way better than breathing all that perlite/vermiculite dust!

It was real cool meeting you guys at Tinley. I’m the one who picked up the clown het Lav female . We were just talking about you doing a KZbin.

Yes we were just talking about it! I have been saying I was going to do it for years. I can talk snakes for hours in end when I get the chance I just need to work on cutting the camera on and letting more than a couple people hear what I'm saying lol. Thanks for stopping by and chatting with us at Tinley as well as the purchase and thanks for the support on the channel! I hope that girl makes you some awesome lavender clown combos in the future!

@@qbstailsnscales you sound like me. I just kept giving myself excuses for years. All winter I was saying as soon as I get eggs and feel like I have something going on worth talking about I was going to make a video and share.... Then those first eggs came for the 23 season and it was make another excuse for when to start or pick the camera up. I finally picked the camera up lol

Great video! Really like the small details like holes on the plastic cups and the use of plastic straws! We do it very similarly, I will point out the few differences, would love to hear your guru opinion on them: I split the eggs so that they don't touch each other while incubating to avoid a bad egg spreading. I can't find press n seal in EU and use cellophane instead but it easily rips apart when closing the box. Got any tips? What would you do without press n seal?
@americanmadeexoticsllc6 ай бұрын
I have ripped open good eggs a few times many years ago trying to separate them. I leave that for an absolute last resort but I have seen plenty of solid black eggs in the middle of the bunch not contaminate the surrounding good eggs. Maybe try a double or triple layer of the cellophane. I've never had to use anything but the press n seal. Alternatively, could find a box that actually has an air tight seal on it or run a piece of tape around where the lid meets the box but that would be more of a hassle than just having press n seal for sure.

How many times do you add water?
@americanmadeexoticsllc Жыл бұрын
Good question! I use press n seal to make the box air tight. This means the humidity stays in the box and I never have to add water

going to have to give this a try in the future, very well explained and easy to follow apricate the video

it DEFINITELY beats breathing in all that dust dealing with the dry vermiculite or perlite!!
