So the actual pool measure 24' x12' or is that with the legs as well? If not how much further would you say the legs kick out? Looking to buy this pool for my family.
@PursuitofHappiness4 жыл бұрын
12 x 24 is the dimension of the final top rim around the pool and does not include the legs. The support legs do stand out at an angle, making the footprint of the pool about 14"x26" that needs to be leveled. They actually kick out about 1.5 feet, so plan that distance to be the center of your support pad. I spent about three days getting everything level, but it was my first time and I was being very particular. It paid off when the water was level to the liner all the way around once it was filled.

Do the straps on the bottom get assembled before or after you put the supports into the frame? Do you put the supports in while the pool is down? How do you lift the sides? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE step by step instructions. You can call me collect!

Becky Mcvay So sorry you’re struggling. I just saw this comment. Hopefully you got it by now. I put the tubes around the pool together first. Then connected each leg to the top before attaching the bottom. I then lifted the side and slide the black plastic tube to connect the bottom tabs of the pool liner. Let me know if that answers you questions. DM me on Instragram if you need more info.

It was not intentional. It didn’t make any difference in the final result of the pool either. The sides bow in a bunch before you put water init, but just keep filling it and pulling the legs out as it fills and you will be good in the end.

Great video and family effort. I fear I will not have the same help from my kids. It will be the wife and I on this project. We just received our pool and are still leveling the ground. What did you place under the pool support beams? It looks like it may be concrete slabs? The directions do call out for something 15'' x 15'' to help prevent the beams from sinking when the ground gets wet. I haven't had much luck finding something like this at our local stores.

watched all your videos. great info. About to put ours up with similar deck but 2 ft in the ground. how did you get one end lower shallower than the other? Go Bucks!
@PursuitofHappiness4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Go Bucks! The concrete pads I used are all level within about 1/2 an inch of each other, the best I could do, but the area under the pool itself is not as level. The center is off by about two inches probably. That made the one side fill before the other, but the water line is still very even once is was filled. The difference in depth was only really noticeable when we started filling the pool. I can’t tell much difference now that it is full. Have fun in your new pool!

Hey, hello there. I enjoyed very much watching your video. You have a lovely family (: Just wanted to ask you, do you think these pools are strong enough, the liners i mean to have a 2 yrs old labrador dog swimming with us? I been thinking in getting me a pool for this summer for me and my boys but i am afraid my dog will destroy it. Thank you
@PursuitofHappiness4 жыл бұрын
Isabel's Thanks! I’m not sure if the liner could handle it. You would want an easy ladder for your dog to be able to get out without clawing the side of the pool. Our dogs (Great Danes) don’t like water, but I’m sure they would tear right through the liner. I think it’s like $600 to replace the liner, so I don’t think I would risk it.

I’m considering getting this exact pool and size. There is another option for a 32 foot. Do you think the one you got is large enough?
@PursuitofHappiness4 жыл бұрын
This pool fit our yard nicely. The 32 foot pool would have stuck out past the end of the house and looked weird for us. We like the pool size and haven’t had any complaints with it. We have had multiple parties with our teenage kids and they enjoy it. I don’t think I would have gotten the larger size even if I had the room. I don’t think their pump would do a good job keeping it clean with that much water to cycle through. Hope that helps!

I have the Intex ECO20110-1 filter and saltwater system. That’s what came with the pool. You can get it from Amazon at the link below. I can say that if/when this system fails I will probably buy a larger system from the local pool company. This is a fairly low flow system that is just enough to keep the pool clean. You can tell them you have about 8500 gallons and see what they suggest. Just be ready, it will be much more expensive to get a bigger setup. Hope that helps! Hi. Great video & Family Teamwork! ❤ Thanks for making it. One question: Am I correct in that you've made a Shallow(er) and Deep End? (I thought that you said that, and I've never heard of an above ground pool with that as an option.) Also, what model is the one you have there? One last question, if you don't mind. The area of our yard that we plan to use for a pool needs some leveling. It looks like you did some work there too. May I ask what you did? Is that a short retaining wall? (i.e. Did you dig out the high area?) Thanks very much! 🙂
@PursuitofHappiness4 жыл бұрын
Our pool didn’t have a deep end. The ground under the liner portion was a little out of level causing one side to fill a little faster. It wasn’t noticeable once the pool was filled. I did have to do a lot of leveling. I put in a retainer wall on the high side. You always want to lower the high side and not try to raise the low side. You want to set the pool up on undisturbed soil and not soil you added. It will settle and the pool won’t be level.
