SD40 setup is identical to Midjay Pro set up.

Hi Larry I am having a bit of a problem with Midjpro when I Pair it with my Midi Guitar as you instructed works fine .... until i go in to registration styles it does not recognize Midi Guitar even when i go back to regular styles settings for midi guitar are erased can you advice... Let me add....at power on page comes up AJAMSONIC .. not styles until i press styles than styles appear on screen ...

The problem probably lies in the registration settings. Did you set up for the midi guitar (check the midi channels each time you select a registration - just to make sure). If not, you will have to re-create them but first make sure the Midjay Pro is set up properly with your guitar BEFORE you go ahead to start creating registrations.

Hi guys. I have a Casio MG510. I like not hauling my gr30 around with the fender roland. I bought an omb acoustic but was thinking about adding a fishman tripleplay connect to my casino. we always need a backup right? it has usb out like the omb acoustic. when are you going to test it out with a ketron? I'd like to order one but have to watch my spending with the few gigs I am getting

Hi. I recently bought a ketron midjay plus (older model), I managed to get the midi connection with the gr55 roland, but I only got the sound of the piano, I couldn't change the voices. is different? grateful if you can help. I'm in Brazil, and few know about these ketron modules.

Voices have to be changed on the unit itself.

@@AjamSonic I have this bad, it even appears saved when I am in style, but the sound continues from the piano. I don't know what to do anymore. I think it will be better to use without the midi. connecting ketron for styles and gr55 for other sounds.

Hello I have a ketron midjay pro, I'm having a really big trouble with it may be you can help, i have a Roland XR module and when i play a midifile from midjay pro it doesn't transmit midi mesaages correctly to Roland xr, it plays different sounds? My midifiles has GM GS messages, does midjay pro recognize and transmit these messages?? Or any other idea that i can use my midjaypro to play back midifiles to another module??

You need to 1. Make sure the Roland is transmitting in Polyphony mode (able to transmit transmission from all 6 strings at the same time). Roland ships in Monophony mode (transmition of 1 string at a time), so you will only trigger single notes in this mode and NOT be able to trigger chords. Hope this helps. Thanks. At 1.16 I dont get style and voice on the In side of midi. I get the first two and then it says keyboard.? What do I do.

Any of them can be programmed as needed for your Midi Guitar.

larry do you plug your guitar into the roland or the mj pro i was told i could trigger the stle backings without the use of a roland gr55 i have the roland GR55 SO IT WOULD BE NO PROBLEM
