That brings back some happy memories of our fish tank owning days, when our kids were young. I don’t know about positive energy and reducing stress, but the cat could watch them for hours. We had some tiny silver “sharks” which were lovely.

I have to say... I was worried about the pump being noisy, but it truly isn't. I think they've improved over the years. It's not smelling yet, hopefully it never will 😳 and I'll pick fish that don't sing or talk 😂

Love the fish tank and you are very organised with the notebook, puts me to shame as a very disorganised person lol. Just wondering if that pump should be below the surface to aerate the water. or is that something else? Anyway, glad it fits in with your lifestyle and stress reduction. xx

Hi Deb, thanks for watching. Yes, I thought it should go below the water line, but evidently not. I notice it draws water into the pump at the base and pumps out of the top little pipe, ... so I was told to sit it slightly below the surface, enough to cause ripples and movement. I'm quite excited by it all! Better than budgies I think! 😂
