Thanks for sharing your tank looks great, after a lot or research and joining a facebook owners group today I bought my first tank , spending tomorrow getting the tank ready for my fish, I opted for a quick tank cycling which should take three days, bought a full moon super red Betta male and will collect him when the tank has been tested and ready, will get a few Harlequin Rasboras as well, spent a lot of money but I feel its going to be worth it, opted for real plants as well

Hi Simon, thanks for watching and taking time to comment. I googled your Full Moon Super Red Betta male - I want one!! He's gorgeous... I will find out more about him, ie is he high maintenance, as I think I need fish that are quite hardy in the world of tropical fish, as I'm a beginner. The Harlequin looks similar to the Neons... I'll have to watch some KZbins !! Beware... Brian, the snail has chewed the stems of my grasses - gone after just a week!! The little bugga! I do love my tank though... and I'm already wondering if I should have got a bigger tank.. may be ??🤔🐠😂

You can always get a second tank rather then a bigger one, the Betta's are so relaxing and can only go in with a few types of other fish, got him on he's own for now and he has settled down nicely, if you do get another tank you can do a quick cycle with Nitrico Goop, it cuts out a lot of work, worth looking into, as for Brain I though he's job was to eat any dead stuff not the living plants, sounds like Brian is a bit of a rebel.

😂 Yes.. I was fearful of killing them, before they'd even got in the tank! So thought I'd better do it all precisely :)) I'm starting to think Summer 2024, getting into camper mode...not booked anything yet. I don't think I'll be going to Dubbed Out this year... I'm still contemplating France, Ireland and even Scotland again... totally undecided right now :)) I'm really impressed with your Ireland plans, you must both be so excited! Roll on the summer! 🤗

The snail is called Brian, the Neons are both called Nigel and the Guppies, I haven't yet decided 😂
