how to remove the top box from the gutka of the bash plate above the top rack easily from past one day im not able to remove my zana top box from top rack i more concern about if i put more pressure might the gutka get broke let me know if there is any suggestion ?

Sometimes, the top box gets stuck when trying to remove it from the base plate after a ride. I experience this issue as well. What I do is grab the top box at its lowest point and pull it in a rhythmic motion. It really helps if someone else can push it in the same manner from the other side. It can be a struggle, but remember to pull or push it from the lower part.

Nice..... I suggest you go for the soft luggage system, it helps you to balance the bike ... you can check the dirtsack rackless luggage system for your bike......

I was carrying a 13 inch mac on my last trip, there was lot of room available. 16 inch should fit, but can't say for sure.

Good josh girl. Just a suggestion. I think you can attach the Base plate (which came with top box) directly to bike. You would save weight of that additional base plate you installed. Try it out if not yet tried. Every gram of weight matters. Happy riding ✌️

Thanks! I kept the extra base plate because it fits on the original four screws of the bike. The base plate that comes with the top box doesn't align with those screw positions. While it's possible to fit it by clamping without using the screw points, that seemed less secure.

No fancy tricks here-just leverage your body weight and lift the bike from the correct spot while applying pressure on the center stand lever. Still, it's quite a struggle for me with this bike. Anyways, thanks for the question! I'll think about demonstrating it in a video.

I'm very short and I can barely tip toe. But that doesn't matter, there are some exercises and tricks, by which short riders can ride any big bikes. I'm still learning those skills but I'm very confident now with Himalayan.

What's your opinion on the new Himalayan? Is it a motorcycle that can be easily used in city traffic and is a good choice for a single bike in the garage?

In my opinion, it's an all-rounder bike ideal for long highways, off-road, and city riding. However, it does have some disadvantages in heavy traffic, though they are manageable. If your daily commute involves regular long traffic jams, you might want to consider a different alternative. Thanks for the question! I'll try to cover this topic soon.

Hi! I can barely tiptoe the bike, but height isn't a big issue. You only need to touch the ground with one foot. Also, there is an 805mm seat height available, though I'm not using that shorter seat height option.

I really wanna know how you would take care of punctures on a long ride if it happens in a remote place ? I'm also planning to buy Himalayan, but puncture is the main concern

Now there are some options for tubeless conversion. Also there are some other gels to prevent punctures. But I am carrying a good old puncture kit and spare tubes. It's tough though to repair punctures on a tube.

@rideraparajita it's very tough to replace the punctured tube on new Himalayan. I saw a video, the person called the royal enfield road assistance people, they came after 6 hours, even they were having hard time replacing the tube and damaged the wheel rim as well.
