Ive got the mpcx, not the se, and the q-links are a huge time saver. Im using it mainly as a sequencer for a fantom-08, minilogue xd, and a novation peak. Ive got 16 midi tracks set up on the fantom alone. Another thing i love about the mpcx is the program channel which switches between presets on my synths. So if im going from say sequence 1 to sequence 2 it will automatically change presets for me. Its absolutely amazing and ill never get rid of it

So you have four banks of user set qlinks? AKA: 16 x 4 instant access? Man. I'm still thinking this is the all time king of midi controllers! Nothing else has Qlinks with LEDs like this! I'm digging. Haven't found it.

Yeah all mpcs do it. It's specially great on the X because of the 16 qlinks. All your favorite parameters right there.

nice, i use direct in recording all the time on guitars, so i gota template for the input plugins. being on your own its hard to sit with guitar etc and tweak the sounds, it really needs two people to play and tune, but the Q`s make it easier.

yes you can, it is already set up actually, on the X you just need to go to the program qlink screen and you'll see the zoom

Am I doing something wrong? I spent a bunch of time programming my q links perfectly but they don't seem to work globally. For example, I want my first Q link to change the global pitch of a whole program. I did this but its only effecting that one specific program....I want it so that if I make a new program with new drums I can still change the global pitch with that same q link? is this possible?!

The way you set these parameters here on the SE, is that identical to the way I’d do it on the X? I ordered an X today and I’m excited to explore it in a couple of days.
