Hi La Tawnya! I really like how it turned out as well and I am hoping that I can keep up with it and that it is practical for me. Fly_az_Izz Yes...the Staples Arc work well with the exception of the blue divider...the other 4 in the pack fit well in the planner, so not sure what’s up with that blue one. Lol! The Arc pocket folders are great! No issues with those and I’m glad they fit a standard size sheet of paper! Good idea to use the Arc folders and dividers! Like you, I want something a little simpler than the cutesy Happy Planner ones. Plus, like you said, the folders don't even hold a full sheet of paper! I have to submit digital plans but I keep a paper planner because I like to have it out during the day. I also use the paper planner to keep track of my prep and copies. I add checkboxes on each day so I know if that lesson has been prepped and copied and it kept me so much more organized.

I do basic planning in my planner, then flesh them out online to submit to administrators. I also use my planner to take notes where I stopped each lesson so I remember where I was with each class.

Use your HP punch to punch the staples divider. That should make it glide better on the discs. ☺️
@TeacherInspirationStation5 жыл бұрын
Hi!! Thank you!! ☺️ I tried to do that while filming, but the divider wasn’t going easily in the hole punch and I was afraid of breaking it or gumming it up while filming (like I did with the sheet protector I tried to make into a disc bound...lol), so I didn’t force it (it’s a hard plastic). I ended up throwing that divider out but it’s good to know that the hole punch works for fixing that issue. 😄👍🏾 Thanks so much for stopping by. Loving your channel! 💕

Hello fromFrance ! Ive been using teacher planners or lesson planners for two or three years, and I never took my courage to ask one of you, American teachers, what IST and SST mean... I fell like I’m very naive, and not very clever... but I would like to understand, at last ! Apart from that, I’m doing the same as you do to personalize my teacher planner. I bought the same Happy Planner whole punch machine, and I simply print the papers I need or those sent by my school director... and it turns right ! Thank you in advance, Best regards from France ! Marie-Hélène Lachaud (if you read the initials aloud, with French pronouncing, you’ll hear Emmashell, which is my KZbin and instagram nickname!)

Look at the holes on that stiff blue divider. You just might need to cut the slits a little more and or re-punch the holes with a single hole puncher. Staples disc holes are not the same size as Happy Planner. Thanks fro sharing.

Aprile as always Yes! That’s one of the reasons why it took me so long to buy one: You can make the holes without spending the money on a hole punch. I will use it a lot though and it’s easier.
