. . [ Wreemo ] or [ Wrymo ] ? I prefer the latter, but I've heard several ppl use the former, and I'd like to understand why. Considering the "wri" comes from the word "writing" I DON'T GET IT. But enough ppl say "wreemo" that I feel surely there must be something I'm missing (and that would certainly not be a first!).

For me.. that's how I heard other people pronounce it back in 2002. I assume, like many words we see before we hear, someone started saying it one way and others followed, assuming that's the way it was supposed to be pronounced. I see the same thing happen in library spaces with products that use Lib in their product names.
