I miss my snapping turtle 😭 found him in my pool when I was about 12 and he was the friendliest turtle I've ever seen. He would actually let you pet his head then sometimes would stretch his head over his shell so you could pet his throat! But after my parents heard something on the news about they can give you salmonella they got rid of him when I was at school... I was so furious..

I've collected a lot of gator teeth, when i moved to the US (Florida) I was shocked that they would come so close, we used to have them in our pool, sunning on our boat dock all the time. Most of the teeth I'd find were in my pool. I went outside to use my hot tub once, the cover was off one side, and luckily I was fast cause I got the shock of my life when a 6 ft gator snapped at my face 😁

Your filter pump is filling the turtle enclosure under pressure whereas your drain is gravity driven. A valve on the pressure side will give you control but some pumps use the fluid to cool the pump so decreasing the flow will make pump run hotter. Just my 2 cents w an industrial maintenance background.

Umm bearded dragons live 15 to 20 years, they need a daily supply of insects including Dubai roaches, super worms, crickets, and a fresh supply of greens dusted with calcium powder. Plus if I’m being totally honest, they are really messy

​@@nisussy To be fair, alligators *shouldn't* be pets. Emily herself has said that. Rex's case is unique because she's stunted and has a lot of health problems as a result of poor care in her old home. Rex doesn't bite as far as I know, but that doesn't mean pet alligators don't bite their owners. There have been a few cases in the past of full-grown pet alligators mauling their owners.
