Setting up New and Improved Turtle Tanks!

In this video we move our snapping turtle into a huge new enclosure, the stinkpots into a 40-gallon mansion all to themselves, and replace the other turtles' basking platform! Everyone gets an upgrade in this video!
The basking platforms were made out of white egg crate styrene lighting panels cut to size :)

I miss my snapping turtle 😭 found him in my pool when I was about 12 and he was the friendliest turtle I've ever seen. He would actually let you pet his head then sometimes would stretch his head over his shell so you could pet his throat! But after my parents heard something on the news about they can give you salmonella they got rid of him when I was at school... I was so furious..

​@@nisussy To be fair, alligators *shouldn't* be pets. Emily herself has said that. Rex's case is unique because she's stunted and has a lot of health problems as a result of poor care in her old home. Rex doesn't bite as far as I know, but that doesn't mean pet alligators don't bite their owners. There have been a few cases in the past of full-grown pet alligators mauling their owners.

Umm bearded dragons live 15 to 20 years, they need a daily supply of insects including Dubai roaches, super worms, crickets, and a fresh supply of greens dusted with calcium powder. Plus if I’m being totally honest, they are really messy

your video's are never too lang, I can watch them for hours, your love and concern for these animals make my happy, I was always a little afraid of snakes, but watching your video's makes me more relaxt (except for venomous ones of course). maybe in the future I will think about getting my own snake, but for now I have my other pets (3 dogs and 5 cats) who need my care.
