Brother, I need your opinion and/or help! I am a turo host from San Diego, and all of San Diego just got banned from doing business at the airport and they will be removing the airport from the search. Being that 90% of my business comes from there we will all be taking a big hit. My question is, is it hard to convert or open your private car rental outside of turo? What percentage of your revenue do you estimate comes from private rental? And how much do you spend on marketing to get these clients? Any help would be appreciated, love the content, have been a subscriber for a while!
It’s also shocked for me My business also depend on San Diego airports

ppl sleep on Pittsburgh - it's a very affordable, charming city. For the price of a one bedroom condo in more expensive metropolitan areas you can probably get a whole house in Pittsburgh

How are you managing the Airbnb from AZ? Interested in doing Airbnb outside of my city. Love your vids! Been watching you guys for a few months now and learning from your channel has helped me start my Turo business. Keep it up!

So many mistakes.... Nothing says luxury like a bunch of Walmart stuff. With all of those beds, you are going to end up with a party house and stuff wrecked. You have 12 beds and 4 different sizes, you need 3 sets of sheets for each incase of a same day turn and if a set gets stained. Your cleaning fee on 12 beds is going to be insane. Don't know how you set up the place for 21K just sheets and mattresses and frames I come out to about 8K on the cheap. Even towels, you sleep 18, so you need 36 towels for the same day change not counting hand towels and wash cloths. Paying a management company will run you 10-20% off the top and they won't care about maximizing revenue (read more wear and tear). You are also missing taxes and insurance which are a few K a year.

Great thoughts, thanks for the insight. How many properties do you have?

@@kingofrentals a few long term rentals and a couple airbnb. Honestly the Airbnb’s are a pita for the additional revenue where the long term rentals maybe take an hour every few months because nothing breaks. The only time we put in on long term rentals is on changeover every 2-4 years. We are always fixing and replacing stuff on our Airbnb’s. There is too much handholding that needs to happen even with well spelled out instructions. Buy stuff that you can always match for replacements like sheets, towels, etc. Buy extra glasses, dishes, silverware because that somehow gets lost. Using the fewest size different beds also cuts down on different sheets/duvets/etc. We’ve found Costco has the best quality at the cheapest price.
