Good job, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve cut my wire too short! Building antennas is a fun, learning experience.

This is a very clear video guide to setting up an EFHW for 40,20,15 and 10m. Thanks for being honest about the slightly tricky parts ! 73, Pete M0KNQ

@@rfquests I did indeed, and set up my own yesterday, following your guidance. The curious thing is it works well on 10,12,15,17 and 20 but not so great on 40. I wasn't expecting such good results on 12 and 17, so I am going to live without 40 on this wire, for now. I think the wire may still be too long but I don't want to mess it up. 73 !

Tie the antenna to the water bottle (free end) then pull it back. Much easier!

We all learning by doing. You did a great Job building your own Anntenna. Yes I agree 61ft. instead of 66ft. of Wire is way too short to run it as a NO Tune Version. HAM Radio is fun thru and thru. I enjoy every Moment of it . . .

The approximate length for 40m printed on the QRP Guys EFHW is 61ft 6ins, so it's not surprising that 61ft worked.

How did you cure the paracord to the wire ? Just curious about that one part ?

I used heat shrink tubing.

Hey, you should use a microphone mounted at the collar...

Thanks for the feedback! This video was actually the reason we bought the DJI lapel mics seen in our recent videos!
