RICHARD BURNS RALLY ALSO WORKS WITH MY WHEEL NOW, AND I CAN THROTTLE THE WHEEL IN LUTRIS WITH FFBTOOLS, YOU NEED TO ENABLE ADVANCED IN CONFIGURE ON LUTRIS TO SEE THE COMMAND PREFIX OPTION IN SYSTEM OPTIONS, THEN YOU JUST ADD THE SAME LINE YOU DO IN STEAM BUT WITHOUT %COMMAND% AND -- ON THE END, IF YOUR USING FLATPAK LUTRIS YOU WILL NEED TO LET FLATPAK SEE FFBTOOLS PROPERLY SO THAT IT CAN BE APPLIED PROPERLY, YOU CAN USE FLATSEAL TO ADD THE DIRECTORIES FOR FFBTOOLS IF YOU CANT GET OUT OF FIRST GEAR IN RICHARD BURNS RALLY WITH A MODDED CAR YOU NEED TO ADD SOME DLL OVERRIDES BY GOING INTO LUTRIS, RICHARDBURNS RALLY, CONFIGURE, RUNNER OPTIONS, DLL OVERRIDES, CLICK ON key AND YOU WANT TO ADD mfc70 THEN CLICK ON VALUE TO ADD n, CLICK ENTER, NOW DO THE SAME WITH THE REST OF THE key's THAT YOU NEED TO ADD WHICH ARE mfc71 msvci70 msvcp70 msvcp71 msvcp70 msvcr70 msvcr71 and the value is n for all of them, click save and you should be able to get out first gear now :) There is probs some things i missed and didnt explain how to setup fully so if you have any issues you can comment down below :) I'll try to reply as quick as possible :P Also DONATE TO THESE PROJECTS IF YOU ENJOY USING ANY OF THEM!

thanks mate, just reformatted into a bare arch iso and didnt make my own documentation for g27 drivers and oversteer yet so i can just come back to this video now

For g27 you need this driver github.com/berarma/new-lg4ff Follow the dkms install and that should be it + ffbtools for throttling if you have issues or gamescope triple monitor stuff you can follow the video

In ALL Forza games you have to adjust the deadzones for the controllers, wheels and pedals in the games advanced controller settings menu. They usually have a sizeable inside deadzone by default.

Only wheels that would work would be the ones that have driver support in the kernel by default like the g920 Im pretty sure Iv seen this on Reddit and they use a dock from the type c port to use the wheel

@@linuxnext Well, one can just unlock RW and install any old dkms driver. I recently added a guide/automatic script for hid-universal-pidff installation on the Steam Deck

Heya, just wanted to let you know that I've been using the G Pro Logitech wheel with new-lg4ff, it is the PC/PS4/PS5 variant set to G923 compatibility mode and has been working the best that way, I was also using that hid-logitech-hidpp but had too many quirks and bugs that way.
