Where did you get those white cabinets from? Thanks in advance!
@grandcanyonreefs Жыл бұрын
They are from Ikea! The brand is EKET and they are called ‘Cabinet with 2 doors and shelf, white’!

Did you also transfer the sand? The new tank looks bottomless?

I decided to go bare bottom with the new tank! Wanted to have as much flow as possible!

I really appreciate it!!!

You should drag those 2 stand next to the stand. I think it would look better and hire the cords also and make your room look larger.
@grandcanyonreefs2 жыл бұрын
Keeping them spaced a couple inches away intentionally for a couple reasons! Easier to clean and do maintenance behind the tank, doesn’t get splashed with as much water when my fox faces spits lol, etc. I have since added white boards between them to hid all the cords! Next video will be posted this week where you can see!

How’s the tank coming along?!❤️🙌🏽
@samanthanabaty15612 жыл бұрын
What was the easiest part and the hardest part?
@grandcanyonreefs2 жыл бұрын
The hardest part was definitely aquascaping/positioning the rocks in the new tank, because I was trying to move fast so I could add the fish and corals back as soon as possible but I also wanted to take my time and make sure it looked visually appealing too haha!
@grandcanyonreefs2 жыл бұрын
The easiest part was setting up all the equipment like the Apex, Trident, and RedSea dosers because they were still programmed and set up from the last tank so I was just able to plug them in and that was it!

Open up a paper clip to clean out blocked lines.

Unfortunately the blockage went back almost 3 feet of tubing, so I ended up just replacing it!

I see you went for bare bottom , any reason 🤷🏻♂️

Wanted to be able to deliver as much flow to SPS as possible without blowing up sand! i have 2 gyres on the back bottom of the tank that just blow water underneath the rock work and sweep detritus to the overflow!
