Hey man, just want to say that your video is awesome! I've been looking everywhere for something that could help me and It had all been in vain until I found your video. It was very well explained, the step-by-step was dead on and in the end I was successful! I used an old desktop to install xubuntu/ Klipper/ mainsail in my Ender 3 and soon enough I will do the same in my FLSUN SR. Just subscribed and eager to see the rest of your videos. All of this to say thanks a lot, you are a life savior and you did a great job on the video!

appreciate the video but can't help but notice the title mentions klipper but it's the octoprint service you're referring to. Can your guide help with setting up Mainsail/Klipper on pi?

You need to run those commands: sudo apt-get install cmake libjpeg8-dev wget github.com/jacksonliam/mjpg-streamer/archive/master.zip unzip master.zip rm -rf master.zip cd mjp*g-* cd mjpg-* make sudo make install

hey, about your video on getting a camera set up, the link in the first block of code is for HTTP, do you have that but for SSL? If not, what do you recommend I should do?

I am not using SSL so I don't have a recommendation. Have you looked at OctoEverywhere?

Thank you Mike! been trying to set up a webcam on mainsail, via crowsnest, and moonraker but nothing. My rpi sees it, but I just can't get it to work, going to try this method. I'll update if it worked 🤞🤞

Hello, running 2 cameras and the services work if ran one at a time but if i have both running the second service doesn't show the camera. they are on different ports, it always the second started service that doesn't show. i.e. both start on startup,cam 1 shows and no cam 2;stop vid0 and restart vid2, have cam 2;start vid0 with vid2 running, cam 2 shows and no cam 1;stop vid2 and restart vid0, cam 1 shows. both service will show active running at same time on startup, so no fails there. any ideas?

I can't seem to switch between my front laptop camera to a different camera. I have a video1 video 2 and video 3 and can only run one server at a time. I must have did something wrong. please help.

My cameras keep changeing on reboot. Any reason why this would be happening?

I have not had that experience. Are you connecting via IP or named host?

Check to see if your camera is working on a different machine.

I had the same problem... Try out /dev/video1, /dev/video2, ... in my case, the webcam was enabled at /dev/video5
