I never would have figured this out with out the help of the video. I later found the click-through instructions while in the software, but it wouldn't have made sense without this video. Thank you so much. I had to discard my EPSON Workforce Pro WF 3720. The EPSON inkjet here in Montreal, Canada is close to $50.00. This company is simply trying to enslave customers. The Cannon inkjet is half the price and works perfectly well. Thanks.

Thank you for this tutorial as I was not able to find the exact printer of mine which is MX722, however this was the closest that I was able to find and overall the steps you provided worked the same. There were some things that wasn't the same, however I was able to figure it out especially after pausing the video and going back to watch the part over or viewing it ahead so that I knew what to expect. This was my first time installing the printer and drivers on my own, and without watching your video it would not have happened. Thanks Again!

I need help. I'm trying to connect to a new router. My WiFi network is showing up when it searches for the Access Point, but then it right away tries to connect to the access point. It's not giving me any option to put in my WiFi passcode. And then I get an Error message that says it failed to connect to the access point.

Same issue here. My printer worked a couple of months, nothing changed. Now it forgets the WIFI every time it goes to sleep mode. Can't change the password. Can't find the printer. Need to reenter the password every few minutes. MX922 is the worst!

I followed all the steps, but once I get to the park where I add the printer in my settings, it never shows up on the add menu. I’m not sure what the issue could be since the printer is successfully connected to the internet my laptop is also connected to. Any suggestions?

Excellent tutorial but already had MX922 wirelessly running for 1 yr. I use iMac 10.14 & can't get support from Canon. Automated message claims I need to "activate my Canon acct." yet can't get one. I have done a chat but a human isn't online. My scanner's NOT working for 2 months! Canon no longer provides technical support. I either continue w/Canon or buy a different brand? I used to brag about Canon's support but no more! Is there any USA co. that produces printers that last for more than 2 or 3 yrs.?

You can find the most recent versions of its driver and software at canon.us/3LA8Y2S though we're unable to ensure compatibility with operating systems released after early 2017. Thank you very much, it fixed my "Printer is Offline" Error message, that I had on my PC with Windows 10. Just did the procedure from 0:00 to 2:52:00 for my Windows PC, and I did reset my LAN with the correct password, and it connected to Online again. 👍😍

Question: This video doesn’t mention those two thicker sheets that you are supposed to first run through the printer. Not necessary? Also, I have had this printer in a box for 5 years. Will the ink still work or will I wreck printer if I try to print with them?

Hi! The sheets you're referring to are for the print head alignment procedure. You can use them if they're included with your printer, though plain paper can used, too. If the test page doesn't come out right, you can run a print head alignment from the driver menu to get the printer properly calibrated. The printer's manual goes into greater detail. As for the inks, if they've remained in their unopened packaging all this time, they should still ready to use. We hope this helps!

What if it says "There is no driver for the OS Version you selected. The driver may be included in your OS or you may not need a driver." I want to be able to print from my computer wirelessly.

WoW this printer works great, but it is THE HARDEST printer to setup. First connect you printer to network and do what the video tells you, then (it doesn't tell you this) restart you Mac, then find it on your Mac. Then goodluck trying to text print! The paper tray doesn't pick up paper very well. So i had to bend the paper to loosen it up and try to bend it up towards the wheels that pick up the paper. Finally worked after like an hour of me scratching my head and cussing at the dang thing. Finally it worked.

Hi, Hugh! Error 5101 means that the print head's movement is restricted somehow. If this is your first time using your PIXMA MX922, make sure all of the strips of orange protective tape have been removed from the printer including inside the unit. Canon USA Support no there is no such Wps button. Also everything is set up wirelessly and the printer sees it but when the software is searching for the printer the printer is not detected. The model before this one was working better.

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.
