This video changed my life. I have been meticulously restoring an old industrial Singer and I hit a wall, just completely stumped. It was the 1 MM GAP!!!!! Thank you forever

The best hook timing video ive seen. I was having tons of issues on my 24 year old brother bes1260 which is impossible to find info on, but this worked for me.. thankfully my machine doesn't require me having to loosen set screws. Brother did an amazing job at making this process so much more user friendly by giving you precise adjustment nobs so you dont have to fondle a bunch of set screws

Thank you for posting this video. Numerous problems that I was having since forever have been solved today thanks to you. I am almost finishing a run now. 3 stops instead of around 50-60+ . I own an SWFMan12 and have always had problems with it.

I may have said this, before, but this is the best rotary-hook timing video there is. I have two machines; an old Melco EMT-10 and an Amaya Big Red (for the amount of blood drawn trying to fix it!) and am having issues, today. I just got it, and needle 8 is having issues, so timing is out. Am so glad i watched this, again, because the timing was way off. I'll set it in the morning, after my fingers and hands are healed... Cheers!

did you set your 10 needle on needle 6?
@AnnesEmbroidery Жыл бұрын
@@cherilynblake8384 it was a single needle machine. I don't have a 10 needle but do have a 16 needle. Home is the best place to work from.

Wow, you explained that VERY well! I have a Janome MB-4s which is a four needle machine. So, which one should I use to set the hook timing?
@maxwellbeehner55373 жыл бұрын
did you ever figure out what needle to use? I have the same machine and am having a hard time getting my timing fixed
@sreihart3 жыл бұрын
@@maxwellbeehner5537 I ended up taking it to a local sewing shop that repairs Janome. I finally got it working, but it wasn't the timing. It was a problem with a belt slipping and making it out of timing and that's why the stitching would jump off course. Good luck!

I have been trying to learn timing on my single stitch walking foot 1541s machine and having problems with the details of the timing and what I needed to be doing. Are these the same rules as applying with embroidery machines? Thanks and great info.

Hey, what needle should i set the timing on, for a 10 needle machine? Would it still be needle #6? Thank you!

Once small correction. The set screws are spaced 120 degrees apart, not 33. A circle has 360 degrees, not 100.
@AnnesEmbroidery7 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on if you're inside or outside the circle? (I am kidding.) Still, the explanations in this video cannot be beat!
