How about a machines with zigzak stich? How to set timing to get proper stiches? And how to deal with hook assembly when basket get stucking every once in a while?

I wouldn't say that it is right. You have to turn your main shaft to 200 degrees (I prefer 200.5). Who have Brother PR600 - your point is 199 degrees. If you will set 198 - you will have tight loop, it is good for "hard" fabric. If you want to make embroidery on thin fabric - you have to set hook timing on 201-202 degrees. But thank you for video. It is really good!
