Is there a way to lock the slats on the F4? I kinda like it more when the slats are in.

Sure is. Pilot cockpit, left hand side. Think it’s a yellow/black guarded switch that will lock the slats.

@DieselThunderAviation I've lost a few Ai on my 6 to dirt naps flying map of the earth In the F4, that's something I learned theu years of Wing Over Vietnam -PC 😁. With the straight line speed of the F4, not much can catch a clean Phantom! 😜 Works in DCS too, but yeah learning all the bombing techniques in DSC F4 is a chore 😁🇺🇸

And that is the easy math! Calculating the spacing for a diving attack is a bit more involved and has a little trigonometry. And yes, very satisfying to get a good bomb run in!

Some of the other tutorials emphasize on setting up the reticle depression based on airspeed and altitude. You didn’t bother too much with it. So if hitting a truck convoy, does the reticle depression matter or we just guesstimate?

Coming in low, straight, and level, I don't get much use out of it. Especially if releasing a whole string of them. I've gotten decent at getting the drop at about the right time in most instances. Definitely is more useful on a diving attack. And I forgot to switch it to A/G as well.

Just tried your method of calculating the spread and ithe results were way better than any of my previous attempts. In DCS mission editor, if you create a tank convoy on road, the default separation between the tanks is just about 100 feet. So using your calculations, I was able to land some snakeeyes pretty close and in some cases right on top of a 10 tank T55 convoy. Thanks a ton 🎉👍🏽
