The secret sauce is continuous integration. Whenever you dump a card into the archive, put the folder in the right spot right then and there. Tag things at that point and use the filename. Get SmartRename for windows and you can add any number of suffixes to hundreds of filenames at once, to have searchable keywords that work in any platform or cloud, no index or AI needed, and portable to any future platform. As an expert curator, it works. It's worth the time. I have 10TB of photo and video data spanning decades, and can recall anything I want in seconds via search. It's like a superpower if you set it up right and stick to it.
