As ever, more great info on a peripheral. I've followed your advice with the GA settings, but something I personally find very useful is to keep my POV hat switch set to snap view left and right. Because Tobii's eye movement is added on top of the hat switch movement, you can instantly add another ninety degrees to your view as and when needed, without craning your neck. This is very handy if, for example, you've gone a bit too far on the downwind leg, and you want to glance back to locate the airfield. Keep up the great work, particularly on hardware, installing, setting up etc. You've been an enormous help over the past few months.

Anyone who feels like they want more control over the tracking and translation into MSFS, really dive into the deadzone options in the tobii software, with a decent deadzone and some smoothing i have no motion sickness and I am someone who cannot wear VR for 5 minutes. So much nicer using head tracking on a 4k monitor than wearing a low res (by comparison) heavy headgear.

Currently I use my old Webcam with OpenTrack and AITrack for Head Tracking. It works well enough. Something less laggy and a bit more accurate would be nice for X-Plane 12 and MSFS 2020. Unfortunately, the Tobii Eye Tracker is supposed to be mounted on the Bottom of the Monitor. As I have the Honeycomb Alpha XPC in front of it, plus the Saitek / Logitech Multipanel and Radio Panel stacked on top of the Yoke, I am still looking for something else. Head TrackIR 5 is IMO severely overpriced, considering the quite old Hardware Specs (it is nearly 11 years old). Tobii Eye Tracker is also very pricey, considering its overall specs. Also, wearing some Hat on top of my Headphones - especially during the warmer time of the year - seems weird. Hopefully there will some better tech soon(TM). Still a very good Video with a lof of Details and also to keep up on things. Keep up the great work! :) #StaySafeStayHealthyEveryone

Thanks for you vidéo but honestly for the 239€ I paid on Amazon this kind of tuto would have to be done by the manufacturer like many others like NLR are doing. It is unbelievable that so few information is given to customers about installing and trimming the product. Use of different drivers from Tobii experience or the Tobii site is confusing almost because they stay both in the installed sw win list Additionally and at this day with last MSFS update I was unable making the device working with MSFS despite many hours of experiments. Even crashing the sim many times. Also very much deceived by the few numbers of games that accept the device compared with my old DIY head tracking IR I’ve done for 15€ all inclusive (I admit I need to wear a cap to use it however…). Eye tracking limitation in size of display and almost range to the eyes is also an issue….So the return to Amazon is in progress….
