My first instinct was definitely that they would start you at mage bank because of the webs and the versatility of the place, but the usage of multiple mechanics to craft a multi-layered puzzle is actually amazing! Instantly looking at the items only a handful actually could be interacted with (chiseling limestone or gems, making bows/bolts, lighting a fire using a bow to cook shrimp and the excess amount of pies/potions meant a boost was needed for sure especially with it being a challenge) and with magic, teleportation equipment or a sharp weapon being the only escape it made sense magic was the focus, Im surprised it took him over 10 minutes to complete this tbh

Love the Pikasprey shoutout. One thing to highlight though is that if a soft lock can be "picked" than it isn't actually a soft lock. Pikasprey's challenges are often set up with actions that no player would purposefully do, but some of his earlier videos did have a couple of locks that a player might reasonably accidently find themselves in. Exploring as to why some changes were made in later games to prevent soft locks is also something he talks about in those videos.
