I also feel like introverts are so disadvantaged on the job market, because it's almost impossible for us to "sell ourselves" well in an interview instead of our hard work and achievements speaking for us. You basically have to be a people person to make a good impression and employers often mistake our quietness for lazyness or disinterest. I never hear any good aspects of being an introvert nor have I experienced them so I will definitely read this book. Thank you for always giving us great book recommendations, Jenn!

Yep, it also applies to the workplace. People who brag or exaggerate their accomplishments are the ones that get the promotions and raises. It's hard, but we have to learn how to sell ourselves.

i'm not a pro but i try to weave in positive aspects about introversion into my interviews if it calls for it. like i'll say being introverted is my weakness BUT i also think it's a strength because it makes me a good listener and detail-oriented. or being introverted means i work well alone because i have good concentration + focus (because i don't get distracted by coworkers lol 🙊😂) and i have good critical thinking and observation skills, etc. there's a lot of good features from being an introvert, and introverts actually make great leaders, you just have to mix and match some or your traits and package it up all nice 😅

My husband is an American and I'm a Korean. He didn't like 된장찌개, 라면, and spicy food in the beginning of our marriage. However, after we have two kids, he ended up eating all types of Korean food.🥲🤣🤣🤣 Maybe Ben's appetite might change as your child grows older. Haha
