The traditional relationship is dead. Men get in shape, get money, and enjoy a variety of different women. I myself had about seven at once and could have extended it to 15 easy. The reason I stopped is as a man you actually get numb to sex and stop enjoying it. Hypergamy is more than just “dating up” Its about exercising better options. If a woman is currently married but an overall better man court her and want to commit to her, she can and will dump her current man for the “better” man without any real life consequences. As a man this is more complicated, we are also hypergamist (for hotter, younger woman) but with the current laws, its difficult to exercise our options if we are already commited/married to a woman. Since women typically date up (from a financial stand point) they never have to worry about the financial consequence of a divorce because the law favors the person who make less money. So effectively, they can exercise their option but as a man, if we want to exercise our options, it come at a significant cost (i.e alimony, child support, asset not distributed equally).
