Thanks for your patience in waiting for me to resume the series. If you missed part 1 here's the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/joLIiKWPa7p0gKc I realized there is a point of lore that has been retconned in this one. (Snorri's bloody hand!) I've corrected the error in the next one.

Rewatching this again and I realized I haven't commented. Fantastic video! I only know a small bit of lore from the Old World (only what I've read from the first seven Gotrek and Felix books) so I am absolutely stoked for this series to continue. Please keep up the good work!

Thanks Titus. The plan was for the series to be an overview to help people with the overall timeline & set out where the relaunched old world would be set. It’s become a bit bigger 😆

I find the lore of the world that was sooooo much more compelling than that of AoS. Yes AoS is more unique in places but somehow also extremely bland in comparison. And the realms themselves can't hold a candle to the living breathing old world
@onlywar3 жыл бұрын
I don’t hate AoS lore but my fantasy preference is definitely a finite world with rules. The stakes just feel higher when there’s more realism.
@wraithship3 жыл бұрын
@@onlywar I don't hate AoS lore either but I think I would love AoS lore a lot more if it was set on a physical world, even one highly warped by magic. Something more creative than "earth but slightly different shapes" Maybe if the realms were fused together as a physical globe (even one huge and hollow to give people the space to have "your dudes" ) where people could move around and interact even if partially separated by sea and mountains. The scale and disconnectedness of the realms make it seem sterile, at least to me. Why should I care that this land is being attacked when there's a near space of infine replacement in just that realm alone. Part of what gave the old world it's richness was the interaction between neighbours which made it seem real and lived in.

This is the most in depth lore of Warhammer Fantasy channel that I have found in KZbin. Good Job. Why do you keep calling the sword of Aenerion as Widowmaker though? Another channel just calls it The Sword of Khaine.

Could continuality confuse in this context? Not continuous Caledors, nor constant Caledors. Not even continuity of Caledors compares to a continuality of Caledors.
