Since I've been using it. I've knocked off an average of 10 seconds on my admittedly slow lap times. This was due to the control I have of the steering wheel versus the standard controller and a lot more practice. Still right off the bat I managed to knock 4 seconds off my previous best lap times. The pedals are easier to use over the shoulder buttons and the steering wheel gives a lot more control over the joysticks on the standard controller. Different games have different settings that can be adjusted for the steering wheel. I highly recommend if you get this, after hooking it up. Look in the section for controllers in the game and adjust to fit your style and the game. For instance I'm playing a lot of F1 2020 currently and needed to set the steering input to 270 degrees instead of the 360 degrees default. Hope this helps you.
