Setup Auto Focus Parameters for Ruida controlled Laser

I have a question for you i have the same laser you have here.. how do i get my control panel Arrow keys to move around 🤔 also my bed to move up n down. I set something up wrong n my control panel..

Not sure exactly. Are you saying your arrow keys don't work? Does you screen say continuous or jog? If it says jog press the button in the center of the arrows one time. It should then say continuous and the arrow keys should work

I followed your instructions changed my home offset 2mm but when I hit autofocus it never changed it. It was 0.0 I input 2.0 after write & ok it did not change it. I have the ruida RDC644XS which when I look it up on the internet not able to find it.

On mine I chane the U settings. You may have the change the home offset under the Z settings.

you have your z axis setup on your u axis settings? or is up and down not called the z axis on lasers? i have mine all physically wired but its kinda a nightmare to setup the software when you know nothing about them. this is my first co2 laser. omtech 55w. just added nema 23 425oz and DM556T controller to my z axis belt. the ruida controller goes up and down just fine through the ruida but the autofocus button doesnt do anything at all..

the vertical axis is typically the z or u axis. it depends how the machine was wired. mine is set up on the u axis.
