Thank you so much for this tutorial! 😄 Was very helpful in setting up GitLab However, I ran into a slight basic issue in the terminal because my username on the system is split; hence, when I ran the `cat c/Users/Jane Doe/.ssh/id_rsa.pub' -> No such file or directory This was easily fixed by appending '\' if the username is split like `cat c/Users/Jane\ Doe/.ssh/id_rsa.pub'( Since the terminal does not like or recognize spaces) I'm unsure about MacOS/Linux I think you already knew this, but didn't tell about it in the video, and hopefully nobody ran into this issue since I'm unsure how many people have or keep big usernames for their system ;) But, would be helpful to include to those who are checking out your video or in the description :) Thanks again for your effort into making this video and keep up the good work 😊 Cheers!

I tried to setup public and private key for one of the remote repo using ssh-keygen, but it shows message - .ssh/id_rsa already exists at the default location. I am already using SSH option to clone repo and pull/push changes for my office work. What shall I do in this case?

I had issues with Windows setting this up. For some reason, Windows will not create .ssh folder. You have to create it as .ssh. with the last dot, then it creates as expected. What a mess.

You don't pull a branch, you pull the entire repo. Once you have done that. Inside the repo, you run git checkout BRANCHNAME.

There is a conceptual difference between using keys and using a password to login. For example, your private key is never sent over the wire.
