I will say pull out keyboard/mouse trays typically force a users wrists into a 45 degree + angle while typing or gaming and creates significantly more stress and fatigue while gaming or working. Tried to go this route for cleaning up my desk last year, started wondering id suddenly be in pain 45-60 minutes into a gaming session. Moved my periphs back on top where my wrists remain straight and totally resolved it
