if i am not mistaken, she was trained to be main vocal originally but as she once had vocal chord problems probably in her 3-4th year of being a trainee, she then changed to focus on training her dancing instead. Luckily she debuted and she got to showcase both her vocal and dancing skills. she is the ace of the industry indeed!

I usually distinguish voices by closing my eyes and it has to move me. Great voices that do that for me are Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Ariana Grande and Seulgi. There are other Korean artists that I won’t list right now because I can actually put her on the same pedestal as these ladies because she has such a different and unique voice like all those ladies I have mentioned.
