Seulgi could be a main vocalist in any other group I feel. She is a fantastic vocalist and is very stable. The fact she's in a group with a mega-powerful vocalist like Wendy yet still manages to hold her own says it all really.

Seulgi's voice IS the mood, YES. The instrumental isn't making the mood - she is doing it with her vocal performance. Thinking about how when she's in her white dress saying "That's what love is, sweet and bitter" - that delicate beautiful voice. And then the GROWL, the sort of evil laugh moment, like wow. The production on this album is incredible and yes, we need her so much we need multiple versions of her and at times we need two of her at one time. :D hahaha The whole album is AMAZING, too. I can't give 28 reasons not to like this song because it's too good obviously. I will do my best with why to like it: 1. Seulgi picked it as the title track because she felt it would give a good performance for the fans with dance and vocals. 2. Like I said before, we get more Seulgi for our time with so many versions of Seulgi 3. The innocent vocals. 4. The dark vocals 5. The introspective vocals 6. The English whisper speaking 7. That part where the instrumental drops and we have layers of harmony 8. The tutting element point choreo 9. The variety of boots in the MV 10. Fire 11. The string (string sounding synth?) in the chorus 12. The minimal instrumental in the verses 13. The way the background dancers are there but don't pull your eye 14. The bridge 15. The growl 16. Levitation 17. The makeup in the field 18. The snaps 19. That little popping sound when she's dragging the chain 20. The outfit with the plaid and the sweater 21. The black and white section 22. The choreo moment when she does that hip origin body roll with her arms behind her back 23. The burgundy bustier 24. The harmonies 25. The ad libs 26. The acting 27. That glove that has string wrapped all up her arm 28. Chains

It's the whole witch motif that red velvet is subtle about it However since Seulgi naturally embodies it, They went in. The checked clothes, the ritualistic motifs like floating and the limbo, the distortion, the melody that idk where it's from but reminds me of Halloween and witches, the dance where she is tied. The lyrics. DAMN

My favorite is the whistling during the chorus. The sound, choreo and look reminds me of like...early 2000s r&b. Could totally see Aaliyah doing something like this. Even her black outfit gives me Try Again/More Than a Woman vibes lmao. Ugh, and her vocals at the end of that bridge 😩😭 seulgi is my bias, she's brilliant 👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️

I didn't know that seulgi's solo had already come out, honestly, it reminded me a lot of jazz but mixed with pop and music set in a terrifying way, the kind you hear in horror movies. LOVE THIS SOLO and as a dancer I can't wait for it take out the dance practice!

This song has the 90s pop RnB vibe like Aaliyah. It's really rare for a kpop debut to jive with the old era.
