@@s1x310 i think they mean with concepts and lyricism maybe? blackpink are amazing in their own way and have created their own distinct sound, however with story telling, message and lyricism they’re very different to idle. but both groups make different types of music so personally i don’t find them comparable lol

Something I got from this mv is the animated girl looks a lot like the member soojin which got kicked out for bullying rumors. (They were proven to be false) and another thing is when Soojin was asked who she likes or favorite person is she said “Marylin Monroe” and now they have a Marylin Monroe themed song.

Another thing in the music video is that the part where she is standing on a pedestal in a green dress looks like the cover of the book "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo". The book is a historical fiction about a Hollywood movie star and her rise to fame and the criticism she received. Not to mention the author says that Marylin Monroe was one of her inspirations for the book.
