My dad went to the Shrine, Seun was there, Femi Kuti was there, Fela was there, his dad (R.I.P) took him to the Shrine. My dad always saw Fela before his death. "Kuti, a man who cannot die." -Fela Anikulapo "Abami Eda" Kuti, Legendary Afrobeat Musician

I like the way Seun walk about with his hands in his pocket... When Fela was alive, he use to say My name is Kuti... Which means, a man that can't die... Then we don't really understood him but now we do...

So Chief. femi falana (SAN) was the one that did the introduction of seun and also serves as the M.C of the occasion. what a great moment and how time flies. No wonder hes such a vocal and brilliant lawyer and an activist. May God bless you sir and may the gentle soul of Baba fela rest in peace.

I don't want to only talk to my kids about Seun Kuti movement for the freedom of Africa, I also want to be part of that movement because my own father did not stand by Fela that is why Nigeria and Africa is messed up
@yaakemet94083 жыл бұрын
When your father will retire inside of him he will end up saying "Fela was right". This is what Seun is hearing each time he meets people of his father age. And if we do not do anything then we will say the same damn thing too when it will be our turn to retire :-(. Hence I became an Afrocentric since.

What moves the most is the fact that I saw a video of Seun two days ago where he was sharing his thoughts on the issue of the girl who wore the hijab to be called to bar, and right behind him was Sir Femi Falana smiling and feeling proud so proud of him like a father. And then I see this video. Seun is a true son of his father, while Sir Femi Falana is a very true hero, been on the streets since forever and hasn't stopped till date. #respect

Among few things that stand the test of time are truth and justice! Even those who stand by them, and represent them never die, but live forever! Let us also accord due respect to a Legend, Seun Kuti, who has been part of the struggle from his childhood! Great regard to the legendary Anikulapo-Kuti Family, who have never been tired of standing for the truth, justice, equity, as well as accountability and transparency, to state the least, of the Nigerian governments, past and present! Fela lives on!
