Yeah. I just feel sad when I realize humans do grow up and seungjae is growing up too fast. Soon he would roast his dad and fight with him without that innocent and sweet look that is always making up for it.😂 I watched my dad and older brother fight like men, throwing things, shouting and dead silence the following day lol. I think the reason Seungjae has such developed communications skills is because his dad doesn't really baby talk to him much. Always they talk in complete sentences, and that Jiyong-ssi always corrects and adjusts Seungjae's answers. He's exposed to such proper speech so early, he never really managed to copy baby talk because his 'models' don't do it...

I'm actually a teacher and my 3yo niece?/3rd cousin? lives with me and my family. Her vocabulary's quite good because me and my mom never use baby talk with her (my dad is the total opposite, though). She can understand and speak Filipino (native language), some English, and another dialect that we use at home. Her pronunciation's quite bad as you'd expect from someone so young, but she asks and answers in complete sentences like Seungjae. She just turned 3 this January.

Charlene Ocampo At the same time, it's well known in developmental psych that baby talk breaks down the language so the children actually pick up language structure and simple words more quickly and easily because of it... baby talk speeds up the learning process! I think it's that Ji Yong asks Seungjae a lot of questions and vice versa, so what helps Seungjae is that he has developed a naturally inquisitive nature, a great memory and connection process... either way he is certainly ahead of many other children his age🤔

Plus Jiyong is always encouraging Seungjae to communicate with others even with animals and inanimate objects like the pigs, mannequin, so on. He lets Seungjae develop at his own pace, doesn't hover over him, is always watchful and ready to step in when he feels Seungjae needs help.

You should try it on your sister, correct her when it sounds wrong and she'll remember it bc if you don't she'll carry it on

Everyone shocked by his speaking skills and knowing how to communicate with foreigners I'm not. (It's 2018 not of kids are learning 3 languages these days. I was taught Spanish in Kindgertaern and ESL as well with computer classes). The way his parents are with him they don't baby, baby him. They make him understand right and wrong and asnwer his questions. His father make him repeat it so that he loud so everyone can hear him. Then they will correct him if he is wrong. I'm impressed by him telling the mannequin to take a nice bath. Asking did the wolf take the 3rd pig. Then telling the pigs to be healthy and he will protect them. OMG!! I just can't with his compassion its thru the roof. Most kids can't even understand what he did. Then the fake homeless scene "my heart...my heart is - J Hope"

This was my favorite scene from this episode. Ji-Yong is a man of many charms and has a good fashion sense. He and his son are the cutest pair on T.V.
