You use hydroid subsume with augment and have the enemies stacked with viral and corrosive which, when paired with emerald shards, adds another multiplier to ability damage. Not needing strength doesn't mean you don't have any or even neg either. it means you have much more leeway on your mod and archon slots. The build as shown is very tight. You need to hit specific numbers in order for it to work while also slotting in two augments and mods for energy economy. It's also a cascade build so if you can kill everything with your abilities, crit chance is not needed. Maybe when you read comments, you should do some research or at the very least not sit there and state what everyone already knows like it invalidates their comment. We all watched the video, he didn't put strength on Sevagoth for the memes or something.

For real. Strength is super helpful to have on Sevagoth for the reap vulnerability. Strength impacts reap, gloom, roar, and crit chance. It's extremely valuable to put into it. There are other lower-strength approaches, I'm sure, but a strength-oriented build makes perfect sense.

@@tommydashed4205 Did you say strength was not needed? Yes. Is strength needed for certain elements of his kit? Yes. And this build does not lock you to a certain percentage of strength as you can prime enemies with viral and have lesser strength requirements Just like your tempest barrage playstyle.This is the version of it that requires the least amount of work. Also with fully stacked Molt Augmented and Madurai strength boost you can literally get to the str requirement (%255) with transient fortitude only so where would be the archon shards that are making this build "tight"? You don't get to tell me that I should research stuff when it's clear who didn't really think about multiple aspects here.

Strength is needed for consistency, especially for room nuking. You don’t have coverage with Hydroid’s ability.

For something NOT level cap, and a little more interesting, I found having Gloom turned on while in shadow form greatly helps with overall practicality, specially if combined with the good old QT/HA combo as dealing damage in any form heals you. The simple CC from casting Embrace turns a 5-second stun into 20 to 30 seconds and you can use it to pull enemies into Gloom.

Always knew about the synergy between archon stretch and diriga. But does pet claws trigger archon stretch? I thought only abilities do (like Zap Coil)

I'm glad you do! Adaptation is alright, but in level cap it won't help all too much. There's only a couple of niche applications where is does help :)

somewhat similar experience. was interested in him after seeing some videos of other cc's talk about him one shotting enemies, but i tried him out in cascade and felt it was quite a struggle due to pretty much the negatives you mentioned. i feel like he also needs a good and properly built companion, which i don't have one ready. didn't want to put more formas into this and that after putting many of sevagoth already, so i kind of just benched him for now... he's not bad in other contents at least. tried him out for netracell and it was decent. his low mobility unfortunately makes it a struggle to keep up with other party members when playing online tho. edit: forgot to mention, shadow also sucks in cascade due to the areas that forces you to go into operator mode + thrax red spears. it will outright kill us if we're in dead shadow mode, which can happen time to time since the consume can feel kinda clunky and pushes us quite far.

Yea, I forgot to mention your last point. All in all, I’m a little disappointed. Sevagoth doesn’t need a numbers buff, he needs a quality of life buff. Thank you for sharing :)

@@7BLANK tried him out a bit again after my comment but used mhblacky's recommendation of using shade for the invis for survivability. gotta say, it definitely makes things so much more manageable since i can just walk around and collect orbs with no pressure lol.

FYI, if you want to guarantee a kill with his 2-1 combo regardless of enemy density or armor value, you need at least ~273 ability strength towards roar and a single viral proc. Hope this helps.

I’m pretty sure the value irrespective of viral procs is 255%. Regardless, I had well above 273%, with archon shards, mods, molt augmented, and sling strength. Thank you though :)

@@7BLANK 25% true dmg x (1+110% damage vulnerability) (1+91,5% roar)= 100,5% true dmg instance. You oneshot when ur strength is over 274% strength. For thorax you need 2 shadows to oneshot. So eighter u got a first shadow from earlier reap or cast it twice. Also other energy sustain is nice to have. Dethcube/helstrum with energy generator and synth deconstruct helps. Diagra with archon stretch, mystic bond, manifold bond, and a 3 status companion weapon might be valid if u can slot in rolling guard for shield gate breaks because of mystic bond. Energyzing shot for free energy.

Thanks for doing the math. Yes energy regen is very important, but I usually source it from Tenet Glaxion or Dethcube, as you mentioned. :)

if you would subsume over gloom, you could shadow-gate (6s invulnerability on entering shadow), and with the 2 augments, you can NUKE from shadow = pull, sow via agumented 3, and then kill to summon the 3 ghosts, on top of that you will have unlimited energy due to preparation mod on shadow you also dont realy need to use his sevagoth form so no need to sacrifice so much on shield gating (simple rolling guard is enough since with CD up you are in shadow), you go to sevagoth only so some of the ghost kills fill your bar and to be able to retrigger the shadow-gate the gameplay is quite EZ, fill the bar, then go to shadow, spam his 1 with range build, 3 to prime and then just oneshot with melee, this spawns ghosts that will nuke, back to sevagoth, rolling guard, refresh any buffs (ghost damage depends on sevagoth stats so roar and possibly arcanes/grimoire) and then go back to shadow and repeat

Personally gloom is not a very good ability on sevagoth. 4th generally is more useful in endurance for free Sow and invisibility. You can also use melee-panzer-pack leader Combo so you dont need any survival mod on sevagoth. Hope this help:)

​ @7BLANK Recent update changed 4th ability so every time you go into shadow you will get 5s invisibility. In Void Cascade you can use it to kill thrax in shadow form and cast 3th ability to spread sow with no risk. Additionaly you can mod shadow with high duration and range so that the sow spread by shadow will scalling with shadow's mod even when you in sevagoth form. And shadow's 3th will spread damage vualbility at the same time.

I see the vision, if you pair it with shade or hura kubrow you essential don’t even need weapons most of the time. With the invis, gloom isn’t really needed and crit buff is not needed. And the viral does great for nuking. I was gonna use dagath subsume but this is is good
