This young lady is very authentic and confident and understands herself. I’m glad that she redirected the conversation towards her talent. Unfortunately the hosts seemed a bit off. Bless up Sevana.

I hate when a woman is being interviewed there is always an effort to detract from the craft and genuine talent. Why must it always be about her sexuality or that she is somehow influenced by a man? I was annoyed at how uncomfortable they made her feel (you could see it on her face) when she removed her jacket. The interviewers acted like a bunch of teenage boys with raging hormones. Sevana is a beautiful singer, with great talent, I love how she handles herself, she is so graceful and poised. When interviewing people, please try to keep it more about their talent. I was quite annoyed by the insistence that she was influenced by Protoje, come on now she has her own style and her own person. When I look at Sevana I see nothing less than a powerful confident woman, who knows who and what she is and what she is about, I don't think she can be "influenced" into anything she's not. She doesn't strike me as the type.

Thank you for saying that the entire time I'm listening to this interview I'm scratching my head and thinking who the hell are these people that's doing this interview have they ever done an interview before and it always seems to be the people with the least amount of talent that has the biggest judgment on the ones that does have it.

If it was ever me their interviewing i’d get up and tell them i don't have time for this because their twisting everything she’s saying and not focusing on getting to know SEVANA. This didnt aid in propelling her 🙄

Artiste seems confident & assertive; talented too. Female Interviewer seems sarcastic.....kinda like she's mocking the artiste. Also why so much questions on her image? She's beautiful period suh focus on the music more nuh....jeeze.
@NellenelleForSure4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. They're so disgusting and stupid. They wake up everyday a look man weh nuh want them and they aren't comfortable in their own skin so they tried to project that onto Sevana saying she's choosing her aesthetic based on what pleases Protoje. WTF. And why does a Black woman automatically become branded "afrocentric" for wearing her natural hair and not dressing like a whore? Smh. They're so ignorant I can't manage it. I don't wear weave 24/7. That doesn't mean I'm on a political mission or screaming Black power from the roof tops it means I like my damn self the way I am & I don't try hard to be beautiful. Simple ting. It's not everybody's style. Style comes and goes based on mood.

I like how she checked these foolish interviewers trying to minimize her calling her "slept on"..the industry loves to denigrate women..a beautiful, dark skinned woman, even more. She isn't "slept on", she is actually being discovered by more daily...her self esteem is high and so she can go far

Nightly fix audio is soo garbage Listen how the quality of the sound make the girl sound
@TheFixJA7 жыл бұрын
We are aware that the audio quality isn't of the highest quality and although we meticulously try to clean the audio in post production unfortunately it still isnt perfect. We broadcast live from radio so therein which the problem lies; we make the best of the situation and try to make up in content, what we lack in production (audio). We hope to correct this in the upcoming year. Do continue to watch.

My problem with many of these younger artistes is they give these big confident interviews and don't have a song that anybody knows. I observed the same thing with Ele Trunks..... She does have good vocals though

I know they record a lot of songs but I think they should get the songs popular first before giving these big interviews. I know of Jesse and Protege through their music long before I see any big interviews. She does have good vocals though

Being big and confident is a part of branding, no one wants to listen to any one who doesn't speak about the energies/ realities bright and whole; a weak wall does not stand. She also did say she isn't mainstream anywhere, which means she's toiling.
