Don’t forget that the Russian oligarchs owned the industrial rights to Donbass manufacturers prior to the invasion. Putin has gained literally nothing more than he already had at the start of the war. Putin is actively mobilizing Russia as a war economy, he faces the same penalties for the cost of continuing the war as equivalent to the cost of occupation meaning he physically can’t pull out now. Russia will grind itself or Ukraine down but will not willingly retreat. Thankfully the Denazification cassus belli is hard to define as a calculable military objective, and for demilitarization and the prevention of nato he has evidently failed miserably. The floating cranes would make great targets for disrupting repairs on ships and bridges. Large cranes are expensive. The barges they're on aren't expensive and are easily replaced. Large cranes are another matter. In combination, we're talking millions of dollars worth of equipment. There are a lot of jobs that simply can't be done without one. Nobody has spare cranes. If one is taken out, replacing it quickly means taking another away from its work. Repairing a certain bridge can't be done easily without floating cranes. Did I mention they often sit in the same place for days on end?
