MY NEXT VOCAL HARMONY LESSON IS UP! Another Eagles song, Take It Easy! A little longer, as it's a lot more complex than this, but still fun! Check it out! :D kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYjRq3pvjrNsaLc

@@coletumey8077 agreed - @Kevin Todd please release this newer version - i get that you have an original cover (~6 years ago), but you you clearly worked hard on this one ... seems silly not to share. P.S. 5:48 - surprised you liked Home Free's cover, as they kinda fail your tip 4 imo. They're too 'perfect' (likely thanks in part to an over-abundance of auto-tune), and it sounds kinda alien because of it. Is that why you didn't share this 2nd cover?

Singing Seven Bridges Road in 5 part harmony has been a bucket list thing for me. I emailed my daughter and 3 cousins and we did it for our 4th of July family reunion. We learned the parts using your video in New York City, Minneapolis, Kansas City and France! We ran through it once when we got together and it worked. Thank you!!!

You are correct in saying five different singers would usually produce a more exciting sound, but I have to say in this case if you had done all the voices on the record, it would still have been a hit! You did an amazing job on these harmonies!!! Thanks for sharing your talent. Message from: Lea Jane Berinati (Lea Jane Singers), vocal arranger and background singer for Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Charlie Daniels, and many others in recording studios for 45 years. You are incredible!! You must have perfect pitch...

I have to admit, that you've got one hell of a range there, Bro... I followed you from the bottom (Don Felder) through Mid-Bottom (Joe Walsh) and the main (Glenn Frey), but I couldn't get there with Don Henley's part, much less with Timothy B. Schmidt's part... and I can't tell you why... no, no Baby, I can't tell you why... One of my kids came running in: "Dad! Are you okay?" Apparently, turning 68 means that you're effectively on your death bed. I've heard most versions, but the Eagles' version is the definitive version... thanks for tute...

Great breakdown! If you can find it, on the original "Hell Freezes Over" DVD they had a surround sound mix of "Seven Bridges Road" where each singer is in one of the 5 speakers. Which is where you can hear in the bridge, it's Henley and Schmidt together doing a faux double tracking. EDIT - Forgot to say which DVD..... Silly me.

I think the appeal is in the fact that many regions have a road like that.. For me it was Highway 9 south from Saratoga through Boulder Creek and Felton down to Santa Cruz.. Lots of beautiful places to pull out and enjoy yourself til the cops come!

Great job on all the 5 part harmonies . Wish I could have helped you a little on the bass . Maybe sometime you can do my favorite " New Kid in Town " . Saw them in Orlando at the Rock Super Bowl in 1978 . Better than the studio song's.

I love this! Great job! Just curious, was the Appalachian accent intentional while you were singing?

Thanks so much! 😃 unintentional! That’s just how I sing! 😋 originally from Toronto, but first started singing a lot along to Eagles songs so that might have an influence! 😃

You did not mention that the Iian Mathews ( and subsequent Eagles) version was actually arranged and produced by the late great ex- Monkee Mike Nesmith. I think he played and sang on the Mathews version

Counterpoint to tip 1 is Jonah Nilsson. His solo stuff and Dirty Loops. Next To You is the perfect example. But I’m only naming one person that can out of millions that can’t.
