I’ve never players 1E so I cannot say for sure but you could run BB + TiO to level 4/5 then this as last confrontation is a cult of Lamasthu and a clue to its activity being related to it or:and Red Bishops interest in Aeon Stones on Starstone as a hook to go off island Just a contribution

In response to your point around 21:00. As players, you know mechanically that you need XP and better gear to challenge the lower floors because those monsters will be too high level for your character. IN GAME, your characters know that they become better at what they do the more they kill, and they recognize a pattern that deeper dungeons mean stronger foes. I’d argue it’s the opposite of metagaming!

Im a little lost with this ap, in amazon shows as hardcover and softcover, sometimes hardcover refers to special edición with leather covers, but in this case there is a hard cover version and a softcover version?

Yes, I believe there is a hardcover and softcover version. I don't think there is anything "special" about the hardcover version other than it being hardcover. It's not leather or anything like that.
