thanks so much!! I actually don't back the embroidery with anything! As long as your stitches are neat and tidy, it's not necessary - but the shoes should be worn with socks!

thanks so much! so pleased to have you here!! I think the key to becoming a professional hand embroidery artist is finding your niche and running with it, become an expert in that area! I have been embroidering as my fulltime job for around 5-6 years now♡

Would embroidering on Dr martens that aren’t leather work? I just got a white pair made of 100% polyester. Would those work for embroidery?

this could definitely work! I haven't had any experience embroidering onto polyester Docs, but if you can get a needle through easily then go for it!

Canvas shoes work best. Doesn’t even have to be name brand!
