He's timeless and so are his words. It's good you are still on the right path and hopefully they find it too again. Sometimes people make the wrong choices, sounds like she did. Your Kids are doing great though that's awesome. My kids are 22 and 19 and had hardship with their mam for years, they talk because I tell them to talk to her but she's nasty. I recently forgave her too was a weight lifted off me that I never knew I had. GOD is good. Anytime someone starts aging fast and losing weight its usually a sign of something else happening that's why I said it. GOD doesn't punish us like that or he'd be going after Putin and all the people that cause death. I hope she gets well and hope you are too.

The reason there is need for repentance, because it meant there must be a realization that we lived wrong/we sinned, and we don't want to live that sinful life again, and would want to follow our Lord Jesus, as The Lord (not just a verbal acknowledgement that He is Lord), and God will give us the HOLY Spirit to enable us to live the life Jesus would want us to live, to change us back to a semblance of how God created us, in His image. Why would Jesus come for His church as her bridegroom not King? Because a king is duty-bound to save all his subjects, a bridegroom has a choice to take his bride-to-be as wife or not. Why would Jesus has to rapture the church quick? To take only those who have been faithful in honoring His name. And God for the last time?, BEFORE He render ETERNAL judgement, is giving those who would be left behind a chance to to take Him seriously, for them to see His wrath for sin. For many so called "Christians" are still willfully living in sin, believing that God so loved the world that Jesus died for us to pay our sins that we can now live happily in however way we want to live. Sounds like John Barnett is a dispensationalist...in dispensational theology Israel and the church are always seperated in end times, in other words, God deals with the church and Israel differently. The seals are the first half of Daniels 70th week. When reading revelation split it in half, 1-11, 12-22. Flip back and forth and compare the trumpet and vial judgements. It isn’t God putting us thru tribulation, it’s the god of this world. It’s post tribulation pre-wrath. Tribulation is naturally occurring things, war, famine etc. wrath is supernatural. The Bible easily puts it in chronological order if you just believe what it says.

@@_familyMAN I have studied it quite extensively. I'm still studying it. In doing so, I've come to understand right division. I understand that Jesus and the 12 Apostles were preaching a different Gospel than what Paul preached. Matthew 24, was according to Israel's Gospel of the Kingdom (the Kingdom is at hand) to Israel. The Body of Christ Church, is not Israel. Christ gave Paul a different message for a different people for a completely different purpose. To undetstand these things, you'd need to consider what Paul says. 2 Timothy 2:7 to get full understanding. In considering what Paul says, you'd be established in his doctrine (Romans 16:17), which clearly shows in Romans 2:8-9 that Tribulation and Wrath are for those who do not believe the Gospel. I don't have a full understanding of Revelation, but it sure seems to me that the 6 seals are a wide, general view of the entire 70th week. Those first few seals line up perfectly with what Jesus called "the beginning of sorrows" in Matthew 24. It also seems to me that the 7 trumpets are a more focused view of at least the last half of the 70th week. And the 7 vials are and even more close-up view of the last half.

Matt 24:31 is a gathering of “the elect,” which are the saved Jews who live in Israel or in the Dispersion (see James 1:1). Note that Matt 24:31 ends mysteriously. There’s no “gathering unto the LORD” (as in 1 Thess 4:16-17 and 2 Thess 2:1). Joel 3:9-16 is the related prophecy that explains Matt 24:31. That gathering is part of Jesus’ army in the battle of Armageddon. Matt 24:31 is not the gathering in 1 Thess 4:16-17. The trumpet blast in Matt 24:31 only gathers “the elect,” who are all alive. The trumpet sound in 1 Thess 4:16 raises the dead in Christ, only. Matt 24:31 and 1 Thess 4:16 are two separate events that are completely unrelated.

God is such a good guy, flooding the world and killing everyone except for a handful on the boat, Killing all the first born of Egypt, and now the 7 years of tribulation. This murderous God is truly a god of love.

Nobody wants to stop sinning. The wages of sin is death. Since Noah was a preacher of righteousness, he probably preached to everyone for the 120 yrs as he built the Ark, and people just laughed at him. People are still laughing and mocking today, just like you are.
