The last time I saw Seven Lions was one of his best shows I'd ever seen. This was definitely a different vibe for the first half, I like the more aggressive/experimental stuff more but this is good too. Hope he goes back to more trance/dubstep drops. Listening to Jeff's music really is like stepping through a gateway into a fantasy land. I feel like every song has its own story but also can be part of a larger one, which makes sense as Jeff has talked about that before. It's the feeling of mythos and beauty hidden within his music that gets me every time, and, whilst I love all the incredible bangers he so aimlessly seems to put out, tracks like Leaving Earth and Summer of the Occult for me are among his best works, as they just let your mind run wild.
