I pray that each one of us will begin today to fill our homes with prayer, worship, and thanksgiving; inviting the Holy Spirit to cleanse and remove strife or any other spirit of division. We invite shalom to saturate our hearts and homes. We pray for a spirit of wisdom and love; that our words would be words that bless, encourage, and build one another up. We will invite and honor the Spirit of thanksgiving and gratitude…recognizing from whom our blessings flow!

My neighbor and friend was a chopper pilot in Vietnam war. His wife died a few years ago and he was a “guest of honor” last year. Thanksgiving Day. This year he is coming again to Thanksgiving dinner. AND we asked him to bring his scrapbook that has 300 plus pictures, news articles and awards. We have asked him to sit and share with our children (a dozen or so) and adults,and help them / us realize what he had done and been through for the Republic of the United States of America! I tearfully watched with him a few weeks ago. I hope it has a great impact on us all!

@@therealrachi I will see if someone could do that. I personally was trying to hide my tears when he was showing me his pictures. One news article he had in the scrapbook called him a hero for saving a entire town from the enemy. Showing how he was flying down the river and treetops and took out many. He rescued many of our troops also in direct fire. His pictures of his chopper shows from his feet up is all windows so he could see. I asked if it was all bullet proof. He laughed and said only plexiglass. His one mission he returned with 51 bullet holes in his helicopter. Most all of his teammates are deceased. He’s one of a few left. Say a prayer for him, and I that he will accept Christ. I tell him often that God watched over him and has still has a plan for him. Accepting Jesus as his savior is the goal we have for Bill. A lonely warrior with many memories. He also retired from the PA State Police after serving in Vietnam. A servant to America, who is in need of our Savior. In Jesus Name!

I live in Massachusetts I come from a well to do white Catholic, Democratic, family. I’ve been shunned from my family since 2016 when I voted for President Trump and refused the Catholic religion and gave my life to Jesus becoming born again. I believe my family will be saved. On our Michigan prayer call , yesterday, we were reminded that we take Holy Spirit’s Light in in us. Be His Light. We clothe ourselves with His armor, we bring His Peace with us. Even now remembering Dutch’s words, God gives us the ability, authority to change the atmosphere if things go awry. Remembering Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, is a time of giving thanks to our creator!
