This is so helpful. I like what he said regarding asking godly advise from our Leaders. It is very important for us to ask the counsel of our leaders. It's great that we learn these different types of love so we can balance everything. Balancing these types of love will truly give satisfaction to the couple.

Passion is essential when it comes to love. Passion in love is like the spark that keeps a relationship exciting and deeply connected. It's the butterflies in your stomach and the heart-pounding moments that make love feel alive, reminding you why you care so deeply about someone. Passion adds that special zest, making relationships more vibrant and fulfilling.

I've just completed this series, and the concept of consummate love really stood out to me. It's fascinating to explore the idea of a relationship that encompasses intimacy, passion, and commitment all at once. The series has given me a lot to ponder on regarding the complexities and depth of love in different relationships.

The concept of consummate love is intriguing, framing it as the ideal relationship dynamic overlooks the nuances and challenges present in real-life relationships. Love is multifaceted and doesn't always neatly fit into predefined categories. Additionally, idealizing consummate love may set unrealistic expectations for relationships, potentially leading to disappointment or dissatisfaction.

It’s being an eye opening series for me and I have learned a lot from this podcast on the types of love, I can see the companionate love in the lives of our parents, they have deep respect, understanding and grace for each other owing to the years they have weathered the storm together and understand each other dynamics. I love the biblical references of Abraham and Sarah and I can tell that this type of love explains their relationship clearly.

Do you think a relationship thats built on fatuous love can survive the tests of time? I would love to here your insights on this.
@Fidel-b6t
@Fidel-b6t 6 ай бұрын
@@ricardofrancis5814 Of course! A relationship built on fatuous love, which is less about passion and commitment but having emotional connection, will struggle long-term. Without that solid emotional bond and genuine understanding, it's like building a house on sand-it looks good, but it might not last when things get rough. So, for it to survive, they'd need to work on building that deeper connection.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful series on this interesting topic "Seven Types of Love. Part 3" I enjoyed the biblical narratives especially how companionate love was used to describe the relationship between Abraham and Sarah in the bible. I've also known couples where they've lost that spark over the years, but i strongly recommend couples who are experiencing these common challenges to watch this program where this will help to reignite the passion, that will ultimately contribute to their overall happiness.

Love's beauty lies in its unpredictability, don't you think? Categorizing it into types feels like boxing in the boundless emotions that make it unique. Embracing the complexity of love might just be the key to a more authentic and genuine connection. What's your take on letting love be beautifully messy and unclassified?
