Although Cove isn't as tight as Anthony is live, you cannot forget that he and Beau wrote all the lyrics for the Saosin (2006) album which has all of the best songs on it. It was this album that gained Soasin the name they have today by selling 800,000 copies.

Someone explain to me why Cove sounds pretty fucking decent here, but on any other show he sounds so out of key. Did they bring along a vocal coach to warm his voice up cause they were shooting a dvd or something? I just don't get it.

Because they probably brought this live recording back to the studio and tweaked it which is what happens to most live DVD's...thats what u can notice a difference in his live vocals from a show like this as opposed to say a recording someone took on their cell phone

Live pitch correction and editing the dvd. Cove was a smoker singing outside his range. He did what he could until he couldn't anymore. You couldn't really expect much from him.

I understand this, i saw the videos, but since then he has played there songs at his solo shows. He has played with members of Saosin and has stated he would do a reunion with them. Also when he was asked why he flipped out on the video online where he was asked to play seven years, he stated that the requester was causing a problem the whole show. Anthony had been drinking and had just complete a long set.

Okay Here is the final thought to end all thoughts on whos better in saosin, the answer is cove, i love cove and i love anthony, but anthony doesnt belong to this kind of music, if he stayed in the band, saosin would have turned into circa, cove does amazing live as seen above, i dont think anthonys vocals are as strong im not hating on anthony by any means circa is one of my fave bands, but hes no bueno for saosin, you'd know what i mean if you've ever heard "plays pretty for baby"

@LNxHC well said...Cove is good for the direction that Saosin was going...and Anthony took Circa to a level far above anything Saosin would have, and probably ever will, become...not hating on Cove, because I like his twists on Anthony's songs...But Soasin peaked waaaaay too early... Circa Survive has potential to spare and Blue Sky Noise is a perfect example...Kinda disappointed in Saosin's new album...Cove is still better suited for Saosin
