Did the wife & the daughter deserve forgiveness? Hell no. The forgiveness was given to the ex-wife & daughter. I don't think he should allowed them back into his life. A dad will save the life of his children no matter what the relationship is. Had the wife not got married to Brian then there could have been some sort of relationship, but she did.

Solid story, I don’t know if I could have forgiven my ex & daughter after the hell they put me through. I have never been to prison, but I heard it is hell in there! Especially for the crime he was falsely accused and convicted of.

First of all, how is the daughter that gullible at 12 years old. Secondly, during that 7 years would she not realize that her dad is actually in prison wrongfully and she helped put him there? Then she has the audacity to ask him for a kidney. If I were him I would have sued the asses off of all of them. The wife, daughter, and all those other conniving kids and their parents. Way too much forgiveness for my liking...

what a rediculous story. that teaches nothing to men at all. a woman taking in the ass for seven years a daughter that may even have a baby from the step father ( i wouldnt put itpast her. cruel people see no limits) and he gets no revenge? just goes back after being in hell 7 years? thats a terrible end. THe wife should've suffered as much as possible. He should never have donated to the daughter. horrible.

I can't count the number of comments where I spoke about trust. Trust is so important that if it is broken or never fully developed there is really no relationship. Further trust works both ways. When you think about it, this story is about loss of trust.

It is normal for this man to hate those who caused all this pain, seven years in prison, the torture he suffered, life on the streets, all this knowing he was innocent. However, it is also normal to be able to forgive the people who caused this pain, especially knowing that they were deceived by an evil mind. They too were ultimately victims who unknowingly contributed to his suffering. Furthermore, they showed their sincere repentance, even suffering his ruthless revenge.

WTF is this ending! So he gets wrongfully imprisoned, tortured and has his reputation destroyed. Then gives up one of his kidneys to his daughter, who thinks he’s the scum of the earth but is ok with asking him for an organ. On top of all that shit they say they’re sorry and get immediate upset with him when he doesn’t trust them or want to play happy family with them. They say they’ll do anything to make it up to him and get angry when he doesn’t let them sweep it under the rug. He is so focused on his revenge and does absolutely nothing to get any. He gets guilty when they face some consequences for their actions from a movie that he didn’t write, produce or direct and takes them all back. The only man in this story that has a spine is the ex-husband of the daughter when he realizes who he married and leaves her. This story is shit!

This story. Had a near predictable ending all has gone through too much to start over without each other. There is a lesson.for the wife, How well do we know Each other. How well we know what he's capable of or not that is important. I think that was made the Lie, so easy to believe.

At least the guy that orchestrated the frame got dealt with in prison. I just don't understand how the protagonist comes out of prison and goes from being homeless to being wealthy to the point he can retire and afford to buy houses for other people. Pure fantasy. There is no explaining it because it can't happen.
