At timestamp 41:07 you were looking at vintage ads and one of the pages says 11037 Vacation Lakes Make your choice Michigan. That’s where I live and yes we do have that many lakes (and the Great Lakes too). I would LOVE a copy of that if you are so inclined. That’s a very unique ad. So neat to see it way over in the Nederlands. What a wonderful haul! ❤

We call those clothes pins or clothes pegs in the US. I have my Granny's glasses -- have plans to make shadowboxes - one for each of my grandmas and one for Mom. The coupon book reminds me that I have Mom's grocery and gasoline ration books from WW II era. Warm up the scanner!! You always inspire me, and not always to shop, but I'd LOVE to go thrifting with you!!!! Thanks for sharing your finds!

We also had the circles, but ours are called Spiral Graphs with all kinds of sizes and shapes. Thank you so much for sharing your hall and stories I love learning about The Netherlands it’s so amazing how similar our countries are or at least the products.❤

Hey there, Recently I was helping my mother go through her books. We found a really old childrens story book. I think it might have been a text book for maybe upper elementary children. Unfortunately, the cover and the first 15 pages are missing so I do not know the copyright date. I'm guessing 1920's or 30's. I love the illustrations. One of the stories is titled "A Trip to Holland" which, of course, made me think of you. It talks about the children wearing their " kloompers". I decided to keep it and use it for crafting. I enjoy seeing all of your treasures. tfs. :)

What lovely things you have bought to shows us Margreth, very nostalgic. The clothes pegs are so much better than today's clothes pegs where after a couple of used the spring pings off. When I was little my mum used to make dolls out of them with a face drawn on the round part, pipe cleaners for arms, wool for hair And she made little dresses out of fabric. They were called dolly pegs in the 60's. Here in the U.K. we call your poppers press studs. Thank you for sharing. Crafty hugs Jacqui 😺😺💖
