Voting for HIP since they are known for their in-sync choreo!
Seventeen is a true chameleon group - they can do any style. Their strengths are super synchronized AND creative choreo. (Their dance practice vids are always worth watching.) ... But they are also very highly self produced. Woozi - outstanding songwriter and composer (even writes for other groups) - he is known for being similar to Suga in his strict work ethic and # of copywrites ... choreo - heavily done by Hoshi with help from performance team.

Producer Woozi said this song was made at a time when he and the group where the most sensitive about stats and charting, to the point he starting fearing that making music would become poison, this song was made as a way to let all those fears and feelings go. Pre-judging a Kpop group/singer/rapper before really digging down deep into their discography, is the mistake that most who are new to the genre make. You won't find a collective group of artist, more diverse, evolving, or consistently creative, than Kpop artists....period! Seventeen checks ALL those boxes.....and they can, will and have out danced, everyone at some point.

“There’s two sides to every coin” and I think Seventeen are one of those groups that perfectly showcase that. It safe to say that Kpop is really just a label and construct that does not define the music within it or any of these groups because they don’t limit themselves to any one genre, sound or concept. Most, if not all Kpop groups, are constantly growing and looking to show a new side of themselves and Seventeen is no different. I would say they are a lot like Red Velvet who have the bright Pop side but also dark serious side. You’re not going to like every song of every group but there will for sure be something you will enjoy and vibe to. It takes that first step to getting to know a group and committing to really know them sonically. But all I can say is don’t judge a book by it cover, or one song. This really goes for any of these groups. It’s a difficult idea to explain and you really only notice this with time and experience. In reality I think any group has their own signature style, and they have their own sounds that makes them stand out. We just have to look closer. One example I can think of where a group keeps signature style to their music is Stray Kids. They are versatile and have unique and different tracks through their discography yet they still have a brand and signature that makes you say “ This is Stray Kids”. Like I mentioned it takes time and a deeper understanding but you guys are still learning and growing the important thing is that yall are willing to take this journey. There’s no rush. Overall great reaction! My Seventeen recommendation is Getting Closer!

Seventeen are known as one of the industry's only self-produced idol groups. Which means that the members are the ones that create everything themselves. Woozi is the leader of the vocal unit and he writes and composes Seventeen's songs along with assistance from the other members of the vocal unit -- Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan. Hoshi, who is the leader of the performance unit (dancers) creates the group's choreography along with input from the other members of the performance unit -- The8, Jun and Dino. And S.Coups, who is the leader of Seventeen and the leader of the hip-hop unit, writes the rap sections with help from the other members of the hip-hop unit -- Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon. When it comes to Seventeen, you really should pair your reactions with their dance practice videos. They have a dance practice video for almost every one of their MVs, and they will blow you away with their synchronicity. You will be shocked at how amazing of dancers they are, as well as great singers and rappers. What's even more impressive, is that as a group of 20-something young men, it's amazing that they are able to find such synergy between 13 boys that really didn't even know each other before become a group, and yet they are all so talented. And somehow they are able to continue to come up with chart toppers everytime. Which speaks to the members pure talent. It takes many adult singer/songwriters and dancer/choreographers years before they are able to really make a name for themselves, and yet the members of Seventeen are barely out of their teens, and they have dozens of songwriting/producing/choreography, etc. credits under their names already.

I honestly have not come across a Seventeen song I haven't liked. Seventeen can definitely nail any genre. They can literally go from having you in your feelings with a nice, smooth vocal track, and have you hype on the next. i can't think of a single kpop group who only does one genre, so whenever you check out a new group and don't vibe with the song, definitely ask the fans to recommend some songs that sound different bc i can guarantee you, you'll always find something you like. kpop groups are always expected to surprise everyone with each comeback, they always try a bunch of different genres and sounds just look at some groups you already like, like nct: from home and make a wish are literally from the same album and couldn't have been more different. stuff like that is pretty normal in kpop

I feel like the key thing most new kpop fans should know is that most groups are truly all-rounders. They explore so many genres of music that you really can't pigeonhole any of the kpop groups to just one genre. So if you think a group is gonna be super poppy based on a couple songs, you're 100% gonna be wrong lol. That's why it's fun watching people discover how super versatile kpop actually is. PS: watch Seventeen's dance practice videos if you really want your mind blown by choreography!

Thanks for the reaction! I'm glad you guys really liked Fear. I personally love that track. Also, Seventeen dont tend to stick to a single genre tbh. Here's some recommendations that i feel would showcase the variety of styles they offer: - Hit - Getting Closer - Clap - Home - Dont Wanna Cry Japanese tracks: - Fallin Flower - 24H Unit Songs: - Trauma (Hiphop team) - Pinwheel (Vocal team) - Lilli Yabbay (Performance team) - Change Up (SVT leaders)
