I don't think you'll have any problems with their Japanese releases getting blocked since they are not under a big label in Japan. They are under Pledis Japan, a division of Pledis Entertainment. They have these releases so far: Call Call Call (2018 Japanese debut) Happy Ending (2019) Fallin' Flower (2020) 24H (2020) Hitorijanai "Not Alone" (coming soon in April 2021)

When Woozi ultimately changes things up in the closing chorus of the song, from "because I'm your home" to "because your my home", and as you called it, adds his vocal flair- that's my absolute fav part of this song. The lyrics are from the POV of someone who loves someone so much that they're afraid of what it would be like to lose them, and I feel like that desperation comes through the best in that line.

HOME and THANKS really do come hand in hand. Both are our comfort songs... And I think HOME was recommended a lot back when you first mentioned that you love THANKS. SVT Japanese MVs & dance practices are pretty safe. No need to worry much on getting strike.

The thing with Seventeen is that they divide in sub-units but that doesn't define their positions within the group. So for example, The8 is in the Performance Unit (Lead Dancer) BUT he still has Sub-vocal and Sub-rapper positions. Same goes with the rest of the Performance Unit's members, they have great vocals. Also, every Hip-hop Unit's member has a Sub-vocal positions as well, that's why S.coups and Wonwoo didn't have any rap parts here. Thank you for the video 💎 looking forward to the japanese releases!

Seventeen is fr amazing all the members are all rounders AND for a 13 member group they dont have that bad line and screen distribution, groups with under 7 members have worst line distribution then seventeen which is mind blowing.

I love how Seventeen works in choreo that's literal to the lyrics -- like the door opening, and the roof peaks. They do it a lot and it always melds so perfectly. Me doing something like that would rightfully look like I have no idea what I'm doing and so I'm falling back on charades... 😅 Really showcases how skillful the choreographers are that it comes out feeling special and inspired! And Seventeen's commitment to performing that they deliver it in a way that doesn't feel goofy! and yes... Vernon's sleeve... idk what that thing is, but it hasn't shown up since so I think he's safe now

I totally agree with what you said regarding SVT's songs being a whole performance... For some, you really get to appreciate their title tracks and even some of the bsides when you watch their dance practice or performances.. :) Fun fact: They've always said that when planning their comebacks, they plan everything from the concept, to the songs, to the choreo to the performance.... Which is why they tend to not to release all the songs they done and hold onto them until they fit the concept of their comeback... And which is why their songs always go with the choreo, with facial expressions on point.. :)

i usually think of home, thanks, and don't wanna cry as being in the same sort of "genre" of SVT title tracks that are more edm (?) based idk if that's the best way to describe it but yeah i get what u mean by thanks 2.0! i think I left a similar comment on your boom boom video but i feel like people maybe didn't mention home as much bc it does fit into a similar category as don't wanna cry and since that song is more popular ppl are more likely to recommend dwc while they have people's attention. but home is loved by a lot of carats!! it's probably in my top 3 SVT title tracks, it's also my baby carat friends favorite SVT song ^^ also i think someone already said but svt's japanese tracks don't usually have much of an issue with copyright bc they're released under the japanese branch of their korean label, rather than a separate japanese label. and it's the japanese companies that tend to be more strict with copyright ;-; you're in for a treat though! literally all of svt's jp tracks are amazing. my personal favorites are call call call and 24H but happy ending has a soft spot in my heart and of course fallin flower is a work of art!!

I checked out Fallin Flower on a whim a couple months after I'd gotten into them and my jaw was on the floor the entire time. It just totally shocked me. I was soooooo disappointed when I realized it wasn't on their set list the last time they came to Chicago. I mean, the concert was awesome, but I really wanted to see it live. Love that you picked up on the door-opening part of the choreo, most don't. Home just isn't as iconic as some of the others you mentioned and it's not a "harder" song, so it probably wasn't suggested a lot in the beginning when you first started reacting to them. It is well-loved though. You really are doing so well with learning them! I'm excited for you to check out the Japanese releases. Fallin' Flower is of course a big one. I personally also really love Happy Ending and I think it's a bit under-rated but maybe that's just me. 24H's choreo is so good too. I don't think anyone gets Vernon's sweater arm, really.

Don't worry about their Japanese release. I've seen that it won't be blocked 'cause it is from their own channel, Seventeen Japan Official. That was so satisfying! I'm a new subscriber, catching up via the playlist, and knew you'd love this one since the first video (Thanks is one of my faves too). And you're getting so much better with the names! The unit MVs should help with that too since there are way fewer people to keep track of (and potentially mix up). Japanese MVs are a _must_. All five are super different and they have some absolutely iconic choreo. As others have said, there shouldn't be any issues with copyright on those because they're distributed through a division of their Korean company, not a third party Japanese distributor.

I think Home is kinda sideline because people tend to pfefer Don't Wanna Cry (better for a casual listen) or Thanks (more emotional due to the message). Home is super cleverly written though, the anti drop, the buildups, the chorus divided in 2 parts and the choice go put the bridge between chorus part1 and chorus part2 towards the end. Chef's kiss
