Jun said he watched a lot of Joker and Batman movies/videos to get the "psycho" feel. Pretty interesting coming from the one Seventeen members say is the most "childlike" and "innocent". Perhaps that's the origination of the line about innocence becoming assimilated and then being made fun of. Seventeen is always teasing him about being different. But why be normal? He's cool just as he is.

I read a comment under another reaction that Jun said he was going to release 3 songs...all connected to tell a story. So the first is "Limbo", the second is "Psycho"...can't wait to see what's third! He also apparently commented that growing up, he was always called a "freaK" because of his good looks; and because he was "different" (child actor, model, piano competition winner at age 6, etc.), he was called a "psycho". (Still looking for that commentary, but it's out there somewhere.) He also said that him being hit by a car at the end was a "sacrifice". He approached this from the angle of "an omniscient god" in a mortal world, trying to figure out how to fit in. I personally could relate to ALL of the words, as I've had very much the same childhood experiences.

Psycho sequel to Limbo Jun’s psychotic Joker manifesting within him. I swear if Jun wanted to, he would play an excellent Joker because his psychotic smile that is a Joker smile. Love love the cliffhanger at end as if Jun did it on purpose leaving room for the next chapter of the trilogy. Now I am currently waiting for a SEVENTEEN member to be featured in an Action Movie because both Jun’s Psycho and Vernon’s Black Eye were super fun Action Movie MVs.

jun's solos remain my favorite... if you ever have time i'd recommend joshua's cover of double take!! it's a song written by a queer poc and he released it last june so it always has held a special place in my heart LOL dk also just dropped a cover it was very pretty, i don't remember the exact title but it was recently posted, beautiful vocals as always

I have to say, if The8's MV was the first thing I'd ever seen by Seventeen, I wouldn't have been crazy about it either. BUT...now that I know the group and ESPECIALLY The8, I think this song is absolutely adorable and VERY fitting. LOVE IT!!
